WHO ARE WE?

The Lakota West Athletic Booters are a passionate group of parents, alumni, faculty, and community members who firmly believe in the power of sports to foster personal growth, teamwork, and character development. Our primary mission is to support and enhance the overall athletic experience for all student-athletes, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities to flourish both on and off the field.

 

WHAT DO WE DO?

​

Since 2008, we have been able to raise and contribute to West Athletics $770,000.00!!! Some of the things that we have been able to contribute to are:

​

• Scoreboards

• Storage Building/Hitting House behind stadium

• Wrestling room renovations

• Firebird Ticket Booth

• HUDL for teams who film

• Firebird Pavilion

• Field House washer and dryer

• Weight room renovation

• Shooting machines for Basketball

• Capital needs/equipment for golf, tennis, cross country, baseball, softball, track

• Student Scholarships: We are able to provide ten, $500 scholarships each academic year sponsored by Beacon Orthopedics and 2, $1500 Steve Cummins awards each academic year for a total of $8000.00!!!

• $125,000 towards new transportation vans for our athletic teams!!

• $65,000 towards new indoor turfed conditioning/workout area in the upper gym

• New softball field fencing for batting cages 

• Warming sideline coats for athletes

The Lakota West Athletic Booster meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Athletic Video Conference room. All are welcome to attend!!
